Eğitim Kavramı Üzerine​

Bireylerin yaşamlarını devam ettirebilmeleri ve içinde bulunduğu toplumda uyum sorunu yaşamadan var olabilmesi için edinmiş olduğu bilgi, beceri, tecrübe ve düşünce ve inançların tümüne eğitim adı verilir. Bu terimin eş anlamlısı olarak kullanabileceğimiz ‘terbiye’; insanların toplum içindeki normlara uyumu sayesinde, inançlarını ve yaşamını kolaylaştırıp düzenleyecek ve daima geliştirecek yolların kazanılmasında en önemli sosyal ve kültürel basamaklardır.

Ülkemizde Eğitimin Gelişimi ve Kalkınması​

Ülkemizde son yıllarda öğrenmenin önemi istisnasız herkesin kabul ettiği ve desteklediği bir olgudur. Bu olgu çocukluktan beri ailede başlayıp yaşam boyunca hayatın her döneminde devam eden bir insani gelişim endeksi oluşturmaktadır. İşte bu olgu insani açıdan kişiliğin ve karakterin oluşumunu sağlayarak kendini her an olgunluk bakımından geliştirmesi anlamına gelmektedir. Bahsettiğimiz bu sistemin iyi ve kaliteli çalışması için verilen somut

Kararları kısaca özetlemek gerekirse:​

• Meslek lisesinden mezun olan öğrencilere 2 yıllık MYO’na sınavsız geçiş hakkı verildi. Her ne kadar asıl amaç lisans bölümlerine yığılmayı önlemek olsa da bu MYO’ndaki öğrenim kalitesinin düşmesine engel olamadı.
• Lise mezunu olup üniversiteye girişte meslek ve genel liseler arasındaki katsayı farkı çok fazla olduğundan öğrenciler arasında adaletsizliğe yol açıyordu, bu durum ortadan kaldırılarak, meslek lisesi ve genel liseler arasındaki katsayı farkı eşitlendi. Bu sayede üniversiteye girişte hakkaniyet sağlanmış oldu.
• Yıllardan beri süregelen salt kalıplaşmış klişe bilgi ve kaynakların dışına çıkmayan öğretim müfredatı yerine eleştirel ve yaratıcı düşünme, sorgulama yapma, bilimsel araştırma, girişimcilik ve bilgi teknolojisi gibi konular önem kazandı.
• Liselerde öğrenim süresi 4 yıla çıkarılarak zorunlu dersler azaltıldı ve seçmeli derslere ağırlık verildi. Ders saatleri azaltılarak öğrencilerin öğrenimi kolaylaştırıldı.
• Son yıllarda öğrencinin mezun olunca boşta kalmaması için genel liselerin birinci sınıfında verilen derslere meslek öğrenme, el işçiliği ve sanat, girişimcilik, ortak beceriler, zanaatkarlık ile bilgisayar dersleri gibi seçmeli dersler eklendi.
• Öğrencilerin tek bir sınav stresi yaşaması önlenerek 6. 7. 8. sınıf sonunda birer sınav yapılıp ortalamasının alınmasına karar verildi.
• Düz liseler Anadolu lisesine dönüştürülerek Anadolu lisesini kazanamayan öğrencilerin meslek lisesine girebilmesinin önü açıldı. Bu karar öğrenciler ve veliler için en iyi bir adım olarak görüldü.
